As a non-profit organization, Les Scientifines’ mission is to promote science and technology among young girls from vulnerable backgrounds, enabling them to develop various life skills and thus counteract school dropout and poverty among women.
Les Scientifines is an NPO, incorporated and recognized as a charitable organization since 1993. However, the first version of theLes Scientifines program was implemented in 1987 as part of the “étalez votre science” program of the Quebec Ministry of Education.
